Small in scale but finely differentiated, St. Barts is best chosen by orientation and daily rhythm.
Gustavia concentrates harbour, shops and restaurants; St. Jean pairs an active beach district with the airport; Grand Cul de Sac and Petit Cul de Sac are calmer eastern coves; Pointe Milou and Vitet favour broad outlooks; Toiny and Grand Fond feel more exposed and landscape-led. Villas often sit above rather than directly on the beach. Road gradients, parking, wind exposure and steps should be checked, as should the regional flight or ferry connection used to reach the island.
