St. Martin, The Villa Luxe Way
The island is compact, but its neighbourhoods and two jurisdictions create distinctly different stays.
Terres Basses is the collection's clear anchor, a low-density western peninsula of large private homes near Baie Longue, Plum Bay and Baie Rouge. Orient Bay is more social and walkable around its beach village; Grand Case places dining and a smaller beach at the centre; Marigot brings French-side town and ferry access. Cupecoy, Pelican Key, Guana Bay and Simpson Bay Lagoon belong to Dutch Sint Maarten, closer to the principal international airport and a busier entertainment and marina network. Cross-island travel is straightforward in principle but can be slow, so driving and evening plans should be realistic.
