Nelson Gay is a beautiful, colonial style villa built in the 1950s. Designed in the colonial style, this villa presents an elegant coral stone Palladian mansion siting on two acres of lush gardens. Originally built for a US Ambassador and friend of President F.D. Roosevelt, the property has been kept up to date with modern amenities and features many antiques and works of art, including an Erté mural and a fine collection of Haitian paintings. Built all on one level, Nelson Gay is ideal and safe for children, and the 50’ pool can be fenced off if required. The many family-friendly features include a veritable treasure-trove of toys, PS3, games, foosball and a vast collection of about 400 DVD’s. In addition, there are two ‘Chattel Houses’ in the garden. These quaint accommodations are ideal for teenagers and can sleep 2-3 with en-suite bathrooms.

The main house hosts five bedrooms while the estate hosts one more located in the guest cottage. Nelson Gay has an elegant style with all the modern amenities. A dining table on the partly covered terrace can seat up to 20, while the formal dining area can accommodate 12 at its Oliver Messel designed table, with French antique chairs and a large Messell mirror.

Outdoors guests will find a gorgeous pool and the beach just steps away. This property is discreetly screened by garden opening directly to a crescent shaped coral sand of Cobbler's Cove beach. The clear, sheltered (and roped off) water is perfect for swimming and watersports. There is even a reef for exploring the local coral.
